| Cat E Series Backhoe Loaders

The newest in the long line of backhoes is the Caterpillar E Series. There are three different models in this series the 416E, the 420E and the 430E. They have an increased performance and a renewed operator comfort. This new series of backhoes can deliver more backhoe lifts and you can see a marked improvement in backfilling.
The axles and new transmission have increased to a new travel speed of 25 miles per hour which equals to 40 kilometers per hour. There is a new displacement piston pump and a closed center. It has load sensing hydraulics. The new extendable stick has an external slide design and performs great.
The new Operator Station on the E series has an operator joystick that is very easy to handle, it actually decreases tiredness and maximizes the most from the control. There is auxiliary backhoe hydraulics and they can be controlled by the extendable stick, hammer operation or the thumb rollers. How you choose to operate this system is strictly up to the operator.
There is a marked improvement in the air conditioning unit. The improved air flow was made to provide a better work environment for the operator. The industry to construction equipment is paying attention to the new E Series because they have the bar in terms of performance and versatility. Other improvements that have been made for the E series have been the displacement piston pumps, the new loading sensors and new systems that reduce wear and it saves fuel as well.
The Caterpillar does offer an extensive line of tools for the backhoe. The backhoe can perform many tasks. There are Bucket Brooms, Augers, Forks, Hammers and the Handling of Materials. Factory installed thumbs are being offered on the E Series which is a first in the industry. The thumbs are hydraulic and stiff link versions and the best thing is that they are compatible with bucket and coupler combinations. The E-Series is the newest technology in heavy equipment.
