Carnival Cruise Lines has been in business since 1972, Carnival has been the
front runner in cheaper cruises as well as the short term cruises. The Carnival
Cruise ships are Las Vegas styled decor and they are known for their
entertainment. The cruise lines also call their ships Fun Ships, you may remember
years ago Kathie Lee Gifford sang in the commercials for this cruise line. There
are 21 active ships right now in the Carnival family. There is the Spirit Class,
Conquest Class, Destiny Class, Fantasy Class and Holiday Ships.
The Carnival Cruise Lines sail to places like Alaska, Bahamas, Caribbean, Europe,
Hawaii, Canada and New England, Mexico and transatlantic. Depending on the destination
and departure location there are 2 to 5 day cruises, 6 to 9 days and 10 plus
cruises.
There are some great places to eat on board these ships, there is the Seaview
Bistro, Piano Bar, Bar and Grille and a Pizzeria. There is shopping and you
can even take golf lessons and tours. There is a movie theatre, Live music,
a Teen Disco, Adult Disco, Piano Music, Karaoke, swimming pools and whirlpools.
There is something for everyone onboard the Carnival Cruise Ships. There are
Spas and fitness centers as well as a Casino.
There are four different types of staterooms, the Interior rooms that do not
have any view at all, the Ocean Views, the Oceanview suites with Balconies and
the Suites with a Balcony. All of these staterooms have enough room for at least
two people to walk around comfortably, the rooms have carpets, closet and draw
space as well a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There are phones and
TV's. One of the greatest things about the Carnival Cruises is that all
of the rooms are above sea level to avoid the many cases of sea sickness that
some people do get from being below sea level.
For all of the destinations there are off the boat day trips, in the Caribbean
you can do the Race Fantastique, Columbus' Footsteps and Stingray City
Snuba. In the Mexican Riviera you can swim with the Dolphins, Extreme Canopy
as well as the Las Moras Ranch Tour. In Alaska you can take a Motorcycle Tour,
Rainforest Canopy and a Yukon Express Train. If you want to take a cruise the
Carnival Cruises are the best choice to have the best time.
