The Windstar Cruise line is one of the newer cruise lines that was established
in 1984. The first ship set sail in 1986 and soon after 2 other ships followed.
Windstar takes you through the Caribbean, Europe, Americas, Trans Atlantic and
the Greek Isles. All three of the Windstar' ships are motored sailboats,
they differ from other cruises ships in the way that the Windstar is that it
is less of a commercial cruise ship, it is more personal. There are Spas and
a Library, reception area, a fly bridge, a fitness center and a casino.
For your dining pleasure the Windstar cruise lines offer a combination of different
restaurants depending on which ship you take. There is The Restaurant, Veranda,
Compass Rose, The Terrace Bar and the Degrees. There is something for everyone
in the best restaurants on the sea. There are two types of staterooms, one room
is called the Owner's Cabin, it is beautifully decorated with a radio,
Flat screen TV and a sitting area.
The Staterooms come with a Flat Screen TV, a private bathroom, phone and a
king size bed. There is a pool and a bar in the pool. Overall this cruise line
is way different from the others, there are no rock climbing walls or any basketball
courts. It has the simple pleasures of talking a true vacation.
